I created the logo 1,5 years ago, because I knitted and crocheted a lot of beanies and headbands - so I startet the label POWOW (it means powder snow and the fun you can have in the winter). It isn't a official company right now, but who knows what time will bring.

eye drawing
Hi!
Unfortunately, I was once again caught up with everyday life. In the University this semester it comes forth high and I do not have so much time to draw as I had hoped for that. But my project is not on hold. I continue to post my drawings, but not daily.
Today, at least I have an eye tutorial...
What have you drawn last?
See you soon, your Daniela

Waterdrop
I tried to draw a waterdrop on normal paper with pencil and pastel chalk. But the white hightlights become not white enough. So I added them with tip ex. It's better to draw on colored paper because since the Pastelfarbe adheres better. So maybe next time I will try other paper.

7/10/13 How to draw a male face
Today I've done a tutorial on how to draw a male face with pencil. I mean I know how to draw a face, but sometimes I think it's good to do some drawing tutorials to look how other people draw things. Maybe you get new ideas or details from them.
I think he looks a little bit like Ken from Barbie ;) Maybe he has a cousine... *g
Yesterday I told you that you can draw a face with different techniques. Here is another one:
1) draw the main lines (for that it's good to look in anatomy books)
2) Lighten up the lines with a Kneaded eraser. Draw the eyes, nose and little details.
3) Add more details, light and shadow. Draw hair. Finish (first pic).

5/10/13 Face of a Woman
I think one of the hardest things that can be drawn are people.
So today I painted a woman's face for practice (with pencil HB and 2B).
Tips for beginners:
If you don't know how to draw a face, there are different possibilities to do so.
For example you can choose a photo of a person you like and you can grope box to you based on the technology of grid boxes. Here is a link from the page "weltbild.de" http://www.weltbild.de/vpg/txt/pdf/zeichnen_3_rastertechnik-1003581.pdf
It's in german. If you need help write me.
